Is Unstuck right for me?

Is Unstuck right for me?

Thank you for considering Unstuck to help you navigate life’s choices.

As much as we (founders & mentors, Utsav and Chuck) believe it’s a solid program, we don’t think it’s going to be useful for everyone. This is not a roundabout way of feigning exclusivity - we’ve designed it with a specific “Stuck Urban Indian Millennial" cohort in mind. This guide is to help you figure out if our offering is right for you.

Do keep in mind that before registering, a mentor will have an introductory call / chat with you to ensure Unstuck is right for you, and vice-versa. A lot of your questions will get answered then. Ping us on WhatsApp here, or on email here.

Unstuck is right for you if…

  1. You have thought of questions like these, but struggle to find an answer.

    • Should I stay in this career?

    • What should my ideal day look like? What do I want out of life?

    • How do I prioritise the many professional and personal things pulling me in various directions?

    • Is this the life I want to lead till I retire?

    • How will I ever get to the things I enjoy, or want to do?

    • What gives me happiness?

    • How do I regain that sense of joy and wonder I used to feel once?

  2. You feel you go with the flow more often than not: If you’ve had the feeling that the choices you make are more “follow the herd” than your own, or don’t have control over your own life. It could be a sense that you are not living by your values - even if you can’t articulate what your values are.

  3. A feeling of unfulfillment and discontent: If you’ve achieved some level of professional success, usually in terms of career advancement, but still don’t feel fulfilled. You SHOULD be happy, but you feel restless at night and don’t have that zest when you wake up.

  4. You often feel a sense of FOMO: Not for materialistic things or trends, but that you may be missing the best years of your life, or squandering a talent or interest you have. When you see people living on their own terms, you often say “I wish I could do that”.

Unstuck is NOT right for you if…

  1. The above questions are sorted to a degree. You have a reasonable idea of what you want the rest of your life to look like. You are welcome to join Unstuck - some parts of the program will still help you - but to be honest, you will derive limited benefits from it.

  1. You cannot make a time commitment. Unstuck will demand 2-4 hours of your time every week for 3 months. While recordings are given and exercises can always be done later, it will lead to a sub-optimal experience. We recommend signing up only if you can make the time commitment we ask for.

  1. You are uncomfortable sharing. Unstuck requires you to answer some tough questions. This will not just force you to reckon with things, but will also force you to write without using AI. The more you share, the more the program will be useful for you.

  1. You are too young. We don’t recommend this program for those under 30. We think there’s a certain amount of lived experience - both good and bad - that’s needed to get the most out of the program. If you still feel you have enough work and life experience, and some of the challenges mentioned above resonate with you, and that the program could help you, reach out to us. [PS: do check out the career-oriented posts Chuck wrote here and here].

  2. You require therapy or psychiatric help. While a lot of what Unstuck tries to help you with is mental in nature (and has been put together with the input of a practicing therapist), it is NOT medical advice. We would recommend you find a therapist for yourself from our friends at TheMindClan if you feel you need to speak to someone.

  3. You have a specific problem outside the scope of our expertise. Unstuck aims to provide mid-career professionals with broad frameworks to help them design their own ideal lives. We cannot help you solve specific problems within those, such as fixing relationship issues, finding you a partner, parenting trouble, specific medical advice, etc.

We hope this guide helps you decide if Unstuck is right for you.

If you think our program can help you (or just want to clarify some more questions to make sure), please message us on WhatsApp here, or on email here.

Once again, thank you for checking Unstuck out.
